What is Erewhon?

If you aren’t familiar with Erewhon yet, I’m here to fill you in on this LA-based craze. Erewhon is a famous LA grocery store chain based in Los Angeles and known for its focus on organic and high-quality health foods. The name itself is an anagram of “nowhere”.

Erewhon has gained significant popularity, especially among celebrities and health enthusiasts, due to its luxurious offerings and unique products. In recent years, the store has become particularly famous for its viral recipes and celebrity-branded smoothies, such as Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie. Past smoothie collabs include Bella Hadid’s orange creamsicle-inspired Kinsicle Smoothie, Sofia Richie’s Sweet Cherry, and Winnie Harlow’s Island Glow.

The store also features other health-focused items like sea moss gel and various supplements. Erewhon also features a cafe and tonic bar in its stores, allowing customers to enjoy a healthy snack or drink while they shop.

Today, we’re making my newest favorite and latest celeb smoothie: The Kid Laroi’s Girls Smoothie! It’s pretty, pink (ahem, big points there), and sooooo delicious. As with most things at Erewhon, it has a hefty price tag (like $21 for a single smoothie!), so I thought, let’s make it at home for a fraction of the price. This way, it’s more cost-effective, and those of you who don’t have a store near you can enjoy it too!

Why You’ll Love This Erewhon Smoothie Copycat

I think this is the prettiest (and one of my favorite) Erewhon Smoothies yet! It’s The Kid Laroi’s Girls smoothie and it tastes like a chocolate milkshake with the most beautiful pitaya coconut cream swirl. It’s a little on the sweet side if you make it with the exact list of ingredients. You’ll see in the recipe card that I marked the ingredients I think are shippable as optional– If you can’t find them, leave them out and you’ll still have a super delicious smoothie!

I had so much fun recreating this recipe. It’s full of healthy fats, protein, and nutrient-dense ingredients. It’s love at first sip with this delicious smoothie! Enjoy it on these hot summer days or any time of year.

Secrets to Success

  • You can make customizations as needed– Substitute coconut milk for almond milk, maple syrup for the dates, and add in any of the optional ingredients as desired.
  • The original recipe also calls for colostrum (which isn’t vegan-friendly) along with greens powder, which I’ve omitted in this recipe.
