Hibiscus Sour (Mocktail, Egg Free)

- cocktail shaker
Ingredients
Hibiscus Infusion
- 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flower
- 1 cup water hot
Mocktail
- 1 1/2 oz non-alcoholic vodka alternative
- 1 oz simple syrup or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp aquafaba
- handful ice cubes
- 2-3 dashes bitters non-alcoholic
Instructions
- Add hibiscus petals to a jar and pour hot water over it. Let steep for 10-15 minutes, until the liquid is a dark pink colour. Strain and squeeze excess moisture out of the petals. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, add hibiscus infusion, lime juice, non-alcoholic vodka, simple syrup, aquafaba and ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
- To serve, strain and pour into a chilled glass. Top off with bitters, to taste.
