Hibiscus Sour (Mocktail, Egg Free)

Prep: 5 minutes


  • cocktail shaker


Hibiscus Infusion

  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flower
  • 1 cup water hot


  • 1 1/2 oz non-alcoholic vodka alternative
  • 1 oz simple syrup or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp aquafaba
  • handful ice cubes
  • 2-3 dashes bitters non-alcoholic


  • Add hibiscus petals to a jar and pour hot water over it. Let steep for 10-15 minutes, until the liquid is a dark pink colour. Strain and squeeze excess moisture out of the petals. Set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add hibiscus infusion, lime juice, non-alcoholic vodka, simple syrup, aquafaba and ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • To serve, strain and pour into a chilled glass. Top off with bitters, to taste.
