Notes

Secrets to Success

  • I think soy milk makes the best vegan yogurt, but you can use plant-based alternatives like cashew milk, coconut milk, oat milk, almond milk, and more. Just make sure you use the unsweetened flavor and choose a non-dairy milk brand that doesn’t contain any additives or gums.
  • The probiotics in yogurt promote good gut bacteria and add a tangy flavor to the yogurt. This is essential to the homemade yogurt-making process, so don’t skip!

Serving Tips

Serve your vegan yogurt in a bowl with any of your favorite toppings, add it to smoothies or recipes that call for yogurt, or turn it into dessert. Here are some toppings, different flavors, and recipes I love!
  • Granola
  • Fresh Berries: Blueberry, Strawberry, Raspberry, or Blackberry
  • Chia Jam
  • Banana Jam
  • Fresh Fruit: Mango, Pineapple, Coconut, Peach, and more.
  • Vanilla Bean
  • Nuts: Cashews, Almonds, and more.

Storage Tips

Store the plain yogurt in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Store toppings separately and add when serving.
