California Avocado Agua Fresca

This Avocado Agua Fresca recipe is a refreshing and nutritious drink that’s perfect for the summer. With creamy vocados, zesty lime juice, juicy honeydew melon, fresh mint and just a touch of matcha powder, you’ll be making this drink on repeat.

  • 3 cups fresh honeydew melon diced
  • 1 ripe Fresh California Avocado, seeded and peeled
  • cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 cups chilled sparkling mineral water
  • ½ tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder optional, for colour
  • Ice to serve
  • To garnish
  • lime slices
  • fresh mint leaves
  • California Avocado slices optional


  • Add your honeydew melon, California Avocado, lime juice and matcha powder (if using) to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. If desired, add additional honeydew melon or sweetener to adjust to taste. If you like mint, you can choose to blend some mint leaves in at this step as well.
  • Strain your mixture to ensure there are no chunks remaining, then combine with sparkling water to serve.
  • Serve over ice with slices of lime in the drink and fresh mint to garnish. Enjoy immediately.
