Ingredients

  • 1 block silken tofu (16 oz)
  • 1-2 cloves garlic finely grated
  • 1 green onion finely sliced
  • Sesame seeds to taste
  • Chili flakes to taste
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  • Transfer the tofu to a shallow dish or bowl and gently slice into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, maple syrup, sesame oil, grated garlic, green onion, sesame seeds, and chili flakes until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the tofu.
  • Enjoy immediately, or let sit for a few minutes to allow the tofu to absorb the sauce.

Notes

Handle silken tofu gently — it's delicate! Best enjoyed fresh; leftovers keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
