Persimmon Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp frauth matcha
  • 2 oz filtered water
  • 1 ripe persimmon
  • 8 oz non-dairy milk
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel the skin of the persimmon off.
  • Mash up the persimmon to break it up and ensure a smoother latte.
  • Place a small, fine-mesh strainer over a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of matcha and sift it into the bowl.
  • Add about 2 oz warm water to the matcha and, using a matcha whisk, whisk well until frothy.
  • Place the smashed persimmon into a glass, ice, milk, and finally, add the matcha!
