Ingredients
1bottle/25 oz non-alcoholic roséI used this sparkling variety, the carbonation disappears after freezing, but it's truly the best tasting NA rosé so I chose to use it
1cupstrawberries
juice of 1 lemon
1/3cupagavemaple syrup or other liquid sweetener of choice (more to taste)
Instructions
Start by freezing your rosé and reserve 1 cup for later. I used small ice cube trays to make rosé ice cubes, then stored them in the freezer overnight. Keep in mind that if you’re using virgin rosé, because the alcohol is removed, it will freeze completely solid, unlike traditional rosé, which will not freeze completely.
Once frozen, add your rosé ice cubes, fresh strawberries, lemon juice and sweetener to a high speed blender along with the 1 cup of reserved rosé. Blend until slushy-like in texture and adjust sweetener to taste. Enjoy immediately!
There are so many ways to make this recipe your own. You can make the strawberry frosé I’ve detailed here, but you can also make watermelon frosé, or use whatever kind of fresh fruit or frozen fruit and your favorite kind of rosé to customize to your preferences.
