ABC Chia Pudding (vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free)

Almond butter, banana and chocolate chia pudding or ABC Chia Pudding! A delicious breakfast or snack. Vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar free.

  • 1/2 cup plant mylk of choice I used almond milk
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup more or less to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • toppings
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • almond butter or other nut/seed butter of choice
  • dark chocolate chopped
  • sliced almonds


  • In a bowl or jar, mix together milk, cacao powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Make sure cacao powder is evenly dissolved.
  • Add chia seeds and stir well. Allow to sit for about 2 minutes, then stir again. Allow mixture to thicken for about 1-2 hours until chia seeds have absorbed all liquid. You can store in the fridge or on the countertop.
  • Finally, add toppings of choice and enjoy!
