Whether you’re looking for something to munch on at work, school or hangin’ at home, you have to try one of these 30 Healthy Homemade Vegan + GF Snacks! Today I’m sharing a list of some of my all-time favourite snacks from the archives, plus a few from friends in the blog-o-sphere. All of the snacks I’ve included are vegan and gluten free, and most are oil-free and refined sugar free as well.
I don’t know about you, but I am most definitely a snacker, and it’s never fun to go hangry. I usually find myself snacking pre or post workout, when I’m in need of a quick boost of energy or food to refuel my body. Snacks tend to get a bad rap, but I’m here to tell you that snacks can be both nourishing and delicious at the same time, especially if you’re making them yourself! When making things from scratch, you not only have full control of the ingredients, but you can also season them the way you like. Of course, fresh fruits and veggies are always an amazing go-to snack, but sometimes, you want something a little more fun, you know?
Bonus: When you’re homemaking your snacks, you’ll almost always save a little money and save a lot of packaging!
There’s something for everyone in this roundup of healthy homemade vegan + GF snacks–some sweet, some salty, some dips and some sips. Hey, that rhymes 😉
Now I’ll admit I have a huge sweet tooth, but when I think snacks, I usually think of something salty first. I don’t know why, but it’s just so easy to munch on something salty, whereas I have to be in the right mood for a sweet snack. Anyone else?
From homemade crackers, to small plates and sides, I’ve got you covered.
Sweet treats go wonderfully well with a cup of tea, or coffee. Enjoy them for dessert, or as a quick bite mid-day! Everything from cookies, to no-bake bites and frozen treats.
Choose your weapon: veggies, crackers or by the spoonful! Whatever you pick, these easy-to-make dips are perfect to dunk into.
I mean, drinks can be a snack right? I’m talking smoothies, lattes and bubble teas!
